Star Abyss — Terms of Use

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the mobile game Star Abyss (星渊战机, "the Game"), including its co-op, advertising and shop features.
By downloading, installing or playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game and uninstall it.
If you obtained the Game from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply. Where they conflict with these Terms about the store's own services (download, payment, refunds), the store's terms prevail.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, non-exclusive licence to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for non-commercial entertainment.
You must not copy, modify, decompile, disassemble or crack the Game; bypass its technical protections; create or use cheats, mod tools or automation; exploit bugs for an unfair advantage; or use the Game or its assets commercially.
All rights in the Game's art, music, text, code and other content belong to us or our licensors.

The Game has no accounts. All your progress (stage records, currencies, gear and so on) is stored only on your device.
Uninstalling the Game, clearing its data, or changing or resetting your device permanently loses your progress. We cannot restore it. A cloud save feature, if added later, will be described separately.
The in-game "Reset save" option wipes progress and cannot be undone.

Credits, gems, chips, cores, shards and other in-game currencies, and gear, ships, pass levels and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") are features and numbers inside the Game only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred or traded between players.
Virtual Items are a limited licence from us, not your property. We may adjust their values, effects, availability, prices or remove them for balance or operational reasons, and will try to announce this in the Game in advance.
Virtual Items, however obtained (free, by watching an ad, or by purchase), are non-refundable, subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play. If you obtain a refund from a store, we may remove the corresponding Virtual Items.
We do not compensate for Virtual Items lost with saved progress (section 3).

The Game shows rewarded video ads only when you tap a "watch an ad" button, in exchange for a revive, doubled rewards, stamina, a free pull and the like.
Ads are served by Google AdMob. Advertisers are responsible for their content; we are not responsible for ads or for any dealings between you and an advertiser.
Each ad placement has daily and interval limits. If an ad fails to load or a reward is not granted, retry first; if the problem persists, contact us (section 14).
Players holding an "ad-free card" skip ads while it is valid. In co-op, if any player in the room holds one, nobody in that battle watches ads.

The Game may offer paid items (gem packs, an ad-free card, a premium pass tier, bundles). Prices are as shown in the store and may vary by region and exchange rate.
Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple or Google. We do not collect your payment details.
Paid items are Virtual Items under section 4. Check in the Game that a purchase has arrived; if it has not, keep the receipt and contact us.
Minors need a guardian's consent to pay; see section 8.

Co-op is a 1–4 player cooperative mode. Players connect by automatic discovery on the same Wi-Fi, by room code or through a relay server. The host's device runs the authoritative simulation; teammates connect to the host.
Other players see only your nickname, your chosen ship and your gear stats. Do not use your real name, phone number or other personal information as a nickname. Nicknames must not be abusive, discriminatory, sexual, unlawful or impersonate others.
Anyone you give the room code and password to can join your room; share them only with people you want to play with.
You must not use modified clients or forged data to disrupt other players' battles, or attack, flood or misuse the relay server.
The relay server (where we provide one) is offered as-is with no availability guarantee; we may change, throttle or discontinue it at any time. You may also use a relay run by yourself or others, at your own risk.
Other players are responsible for their own conduct; leave the room if you are harassed.

The Game contains cartoon-style space shooting combat and advertising and is intended for players aged 13 and over; the age rating shown in each store applies.
Players under 18 (or the age of majority where they live) should play with a guardian's consent and supervision, especially before watching ads or (in future) paying.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age where you live). If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

The Game's code, design, text, music and images are protected by copyright and other laws.
AI-generated assets: some of the Game's art (ships, enemies, bosses, backgrounds, icons) and music were produced with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini, then selected and edited by hand.
You may not use the Game's assets outside the Game. Recording, streaming and sharing screenshots for non-commercial purposes is welcome.
"Star Abyss", "星渊战机" and related marks belong to us.

The Game is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, compatible with every device, or suitable for your particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the Game (including lost saves, lost Virtual Items and data charges). Our total liability for direct loss is limited to the amount you paid for the Game in the preceding 12 months (zero for free players).
Nothing in this section excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory law that cannot be excluded.

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it.
If you breach these Terms (in particular sections 2 and 7), we may restrict or stop your access to co-op, ad rewards or other features without compensation.
We may discontinue the Game or parts of it (such as the relay or the remote mailbox feed) and will try to announce this in the Game in advance. After discontinuation your save stays on your device and single-player content normally remains playable.

We may change these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the Game or will require you to agree again; continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without affecting mandatory consumer-protection law where you live. Disputes are to be resolved amicably first, and otherwise in the courts with jurisdiction in that state.
